Bodega Colomé - Torrontés Calchagui Valley
Torrontés is the emblematic white variety of Argentina since it is native to the country. It reaches its maximum expression in the north of Argentina where the microclimate of the Calchaquí Valley offers a great thermal amplitude and a greater solar exposition that allow the grape to develop a unique aromatic expression, with great freshness and excellent acidity.
Colomé Torrontés is a delicate, elegant and sophisticated interpretation of this variety, with floral notes of roses combined with citrus aromas and a spicy touch that makes it an ideal companion to ethnic foods such as Mexican, Peruvian and even seafood.
The serious 2017 Torrontés is varietal, fresh, intense and a little grapey. It has a soft palate and finishes with some sweet Moscatel pulp fruit flavors. 144,000 bottles.
