agrapart 7 crus brut
|Producer||Agrapart & Fils|
Agrapart champagne is the archetype of the blanc de blancs producer (100% Chardonnay). In selecting the best grapes of all seven villages, they have succeeded in demonstrating the fundamental character of Cótes des Blancs in one cuvée. 100% of the fruit comes from estate-owned parcels located in each of the seven villages in the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Oger, Oiry, Cramant, Avenay Val d'Or, Bergères les Vertus and Mardeuil.
Agrapart's NV Brut 7 Crus now routinely includes some 10% Pinot Noir, and the latest rendition is based on the vintage, supplemented by fully 40% from . This bottle was disgorged in May with seven grams per liter dosage. Offering up aromas of rips citrus fruit, yellow apples and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and vinous, with a comparatively open-knot, fleshy profile, concluding with a chalky and precise finish.
